     My photography "hobby" started in 1968 with a Minolta Hi Matic 7s rangefinder camera. Through the years I have aquired a lot of new gear, worked in photo labs, photographed weddings and portraits on a "professional" level, and now just have a true amateur photography hobby. Most recently I began photographing "mundane" subjects and making postcards out of them to send to friends and family. You can read more about my photography on the PHOTOGRAPHY page of this website.

     My amateur radio hobby started in 2008 when I took the "no code" technician test and received my license. I started out with a Midland 2m/440 HT with a J-pole antenna. Since then, I have aquired 7 radios and have 7 antennas mounted on the roof of the house. You can read more about this hobby on the RADIO page of this website.

     I enjoy both hobbies.
